Pictures Needed FBC would like to honor any veteran who has served. If you have not done so previously, please send in a picture of your veteran in military dress, if possible, to the church office by Sunday (11/3)! Include name and branch of military served.
 
International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians is Sunday, November 10 – This day is set aside as a global prayer meeting on behalf of persecuted Christians who stand as a bold witness to Christ on the world’s most dangerous frontiers. Prayer guides are available at the mission wall, and Welcome Table in the gym. Pick up your copy today!
 
Family Meal Wednesday
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Quiche & Fruit Cup and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.
 

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please call Donna Outt.

Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church. Come on over!

 
Fellowship Fund Giving Opportunity In following the biblical directive to take care of our widows and orphans, FBC created the fellowship fund. This fund not only blesses those financially hurting in our church family, but also those who desire to invest in their marriages. If you would like to give, please note “Fellowship Fund” in the memo of your check or on your envelope.
 
Annual Business Meeting is coming up Sat., Nov. 16, 2024 9AM in the BFLC. Breakfast will be served at 8:30AM. Please pick up a copy of the proposed Constitutional changes for review. One per family. The proposed budgets and Nominating Committee report are posted on the ramp bulletin board for review before the meeting. We encourage your attendance as we discuss these matters. Sign up for breakfast in the main lobby & gym areas.
 
Ladies’ Grief Group is Restarting this Wednesday (11/6) @ 6pm in the Conference Room. Have you lost a loved one? Maybe it’s your health. Whatever the loss, you do not have to go through it alone! This dynamic group of women come together for support and comfort through the grieving process. If you have any questions, contact Tassy Swank or Linda Beyer. Sign up in the Main Lobby!
 
School Supplies Needed We are collecting new school supplies for the upcoming trip to Honduras in December. Baskets are in the main lobby & gym. Here is a list of items we are looking for:
  • Pens
  • 8 1/2×11 Notebooks
  • Crayons
  • Colored Pencils
  • Pencils
  • Glue Sticks
  • Erasers
  • Pencil Sharpeners
  • We are also asking for NEW, SMALL stuffed animals (no bigger than a Beanie Baby) to hand out during the kids’ ministry time.
 
Project Updates
  • Trunk or Treat—over 1400 bags were packed with goodies!
  • College Care—24 boxes were prepared and prayed over! Boxes are available for pick-up in the Main Lobby for those who requested it. Thank you for your generosity!!
 
Vintage Knolls Visits This Saturday, Nov. 9th from 2-4p, we will be visiting Vintage Knolls to engage in various activities such as crafts and games. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact on our community and build relationships. For more information or if interested in attending, contact Jen Van Horn. On Dec. 7th we are looking for a few people willing to play an instrument. Let’s come together to share the love of Christ!
 
Winterwear Collection We are collecting gently used, like-new winter outerwear, e.g. coats, hats, gloves, scarves, snowpants, etc. They will be delivered to Rochester, NY where our missionary Marvin Robinson will hand them out to the community. Donation Box in main lobby. Due 11/17.
 
COFFEE HOUR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We sure do appreciate having coffee between services and people willing to come in to make the coffee and set up all those goodies. Our coffee team could use your help. They are looking for a few more people to join the team. It’s a once a month time commitment. If you are interested, please talk to the Puccios or any of the team members in the kitchen.
