Fishnet Partners! Fishnet Ministries processes large quantities of goods that will be sent to the mission field. This Thursday, they will be working on processing eye glasses in the BFLC from 9-12pm. All are welcome!
Football Chapel is this Friday, 9/28 at 10am. A few big hearts are needed to make and serve breakfast to the Danville Ironmen football team and cheerleaders. If you are interested in helping, circle “F” on your connect card or call the church office.

Midweek Meal: Wednesday, September 26: Dinner is served 4:45-5:45 PM. This week’s menu is Spaghetti & Meatballs, Salad, Garlic Bread & the desserts you bring. Please sign up by Monday, 9/24 on the Ramp Bulletin Board, in your SBS class or by calling the office. Suggested donation for meals is $3/person or $10/family. If you know of a shut-in or elderly person and would be willing to deliver a meal to them, it is free of charge. Please put their name on the sign up sheet and indicate “Shut-In”. Desserts are on a donation basis, so feel free to share a dessert any time.
Moms In Prayer International has a chapter here at FBC! The group meets in the conference room on Thursdays at 9:45am. “We believe God changes lives and whole communities forever when moms gather together to pray”. If you are a mom, aunt, grandmother, guardian, woman of prayer, come join us!
Trim Healthy Mama Are you looking for a healthier eating lifestyle? Maybe you have heard of Trim Healthy Mama and would like to know more or have already started and are completely overwhelmed. Following the 10:30am service on October 14, you are invited to our THM group meeting. A potluck dinner will be held, sharing THM dishes and recipes, as well as discussion about the program. RSVP to Rachel Renno by October 10.
Bulletin Collators Needed We need 1 or 2 people to put together our service bulletins on Friday afternoons. The job takes about 1.5 hours and bulletins are typically ready by 2pm. This is a sit down job. If you are interested, circle “H” on your connect card.
Care & Concern Ministry began in October ‘03 and is a group of some of the biggest hearts around. They make and take meals to those who have had babies, surgery, or are going through a tough time. If you have a big heart, here’s one of the ministries where your heart is needed!

Children’s Church Has Begun!! Children’s Church is a program for children ages 4 to 4th grade that takes place on Sundays during our 10:30am service.
Come & Help in The Kitchen! We are looking for big hearts to help us out in the kitchen on Wednesday evenings. Here’s how you can help & the estimated time needed; Food Prep (3 hours), Setup (1 hour), Serving (1.5 hours) & Clean-up (1.5 hours).
The Forge: A Regional Men’s Movement at FBC – The Forge’s mission is to bring men together to support one another in life, faith and personal growth. We do this with Trust, Confidentiality, and Authenticity striving to deepen relationships and make new ones. There will be faith based teaching and small group discussion. Light refreshments will be available.
Missionary Dessert Reception – Sunday, October 7 at 6pm – Lucas & Bekah Grudda – Join us to encourage and be encouraged as the Gruddas share their plans to return to Senegal, serving with World Venture! Any and all desserts would be appreciated! Please bring them to the kitchen.
The Summer Soup Can Project is wrapping up!Please return your Soup Can and change to FBC TODAY. The Haiti Team greatly appreciates any support you’re able to offer. With these funds, they will be able to hand out glasses for reading and distance as well as sunglasses!
Hurricane Relief – Responding with Aid, Restoring Dignity, and Revealing Hope – With all that we’ve been seeing in the news, you might be asking, “How can I help?” Global Aid Network, who was just here for our seed and food packing event, are already on the ground! They are in places like Wilmington, NC with trucks filled with disaster relief supplies as they work on initial damage assessments and sharing Jesus’ love. If you’d like to help them financially, feel free to put your donation in the Love Offering envelope located in the pew rack and note “hurricane” on the envelope. If you would like to donate by check, please make it out to FBC and note “hurricane” in the memo.
