Family Meal Wednesday
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Soup & Sandwiches and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

2023 Tax Credit? If you would like to have tax credit for this year, tithes and/or donations must be received or post marked by Dec. 31st. Giving reports will be mailed out in January for tax purposes.
Snow Many Good Books! Slide into our Library and wrap yourself up in a good book. There’s a flurry of great titles for all ages! And no cold-shoulder for late returns. The Library is open between services on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.
Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please call Donna Outt.
Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church as well. Come on over!
More Home Groups We are currently looking for facilitators and host homes! If you would like info or to sign up, call the office or check out www.danvillefirstbaptist.org/home-groups-faq.
Call for Cookies! We will be delivering gifts and caroling to our shut-ins this Friday and Saturday and giving them each a goody bag of Christmas cookies. If you would like to donate any yummy cookies, please bring them to the kitchen by Thursday, Dec. 14th and note “shut-ins” on them.
Christmas Caroling This Saturday!! 2PM – Do you love caroling and spreading joy to others? Then join us as we sing to some of our dear shut ins and nursing home residents. We will meet in the kitchen at 2pm. To sign up, call the office (570) 275-1511.
Baptism Sunday is Coming January 7th – If you would like to take the plunge in following Jesus’ example, let us know by Next Sunday!!
Looking for Delivery Drivers Wanna rev your engines for a sweet cause?? We are looking for drivers to assist us in dropping off Christmas gifts to our sweet home bound church family. Gift pick-up will be this Friday, Dec 15 from 9am-4pm in the main foyer. Drivers will be provided with addresses and phone numbers. If interested, call the office at (570) 275-1511.
Orchestra Players Needed! Need an excuse to dust off that instrument in the closet?? Pastor John is looking for instrumentalists to accompany the singing during the 8AM Christmas Eve service. Contact Pastor John for more info. All the sheet music is on our website www.danvillefirstbaptist.org/orchestra or scan the QR code.
Time of Fellowship The kids will be enjoying milk and cookies after a shortened Sunday School on Christmas Eve Day. It will begin at 10AM in the BFLC. Cookie donations would be greatly appreciated! Place all donations in the kitchen marked “Kids”.

Blood Drive Monday, 12/18 – Stop by the BFLC (gym) from 12:30-5:30pm. Register for a time slot today at www.redcross.org.
NYE BASH 2023!! BRINGING IN 2024 WITH A BANG! Grab your warmest coat! Join us Sunday 12/31 at 7PM for food (s’mores & cookies), hot cocoa, fun, music and a short devotional. Rain or shine! Then a big fireworks display, weather pending!!
Lost Something? The closet has been filling up with items that could belong to you. You may just find that missing jacket, Bible, water bottle or food container. The Lost & Found Closet is located next to the kitchen.
