Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt. 
 
Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church. Come on over!
 
Men’s Basketball Guys 18 & up are invited to play a few pickup games Sunday evenings from 5-7pm in the gym. For questions or more information, contact Rawle Clarke.

Family Meal Wednesday
Served: 4:45-5:45PM  |  Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Shepherd’s Pie and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time. 
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge. 
 
Samaritan’s Purse Trip Info Meeting is Sunday (10/27) @ 9am under the balcony in sanctuary. We are organizing a team to assist with hurricane relief and rebuilding efforts. If you feel called to help, please join us for an informational meeting on the last Sunday of this month. Josh Long will be sharing his experience in working with Samaritan’s Purse. Your participation can make a significant difference! 
 
Ladies Grief Group is Restarting Wednesday, Nov. 6th @ 6pm in the Conference Room. Have you lost a loved one? Maybe it’s your health. Whatever the loss, you do not have to go through it alone! This dynamic group of women come together for support and comfort through the grieving process. If you have any questions, contact Tassy Swank or Linda Beyer.

International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians is Sunday, November 10. This day is set aside as a global prayer meeting on behalf of persecuted Christians who stand as a bold witness to Christ on the world’s most dangerous frontiers. Prayer guides are available at the mission wall, and Welcome Table in the gym.  Pick up your copy today!
 
Vintage Knolls Visits Starting Saturday, Nov. 9th from 2-4p, we will be visiting Vintage Knolls once a month to engage in various activities such as crafts and games. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact on our community and build relationships.  For more information, contact Jen Van Horn.  On Dec. 7th we are looking for a few people willing to play an instrument. Let’s come together to share the love of Christ!
 
Winterwear Collection We are collecting gently used, like-new winter outerwear, e.g. coats, hats, gloves, scarves, snowpants, etc.  They will be delivered to Rochester, NY where our missionary Marvin Robinson will hand them out to the community. Donation Box in main lobby. Due 11/17.
 
Halloween is almost here! Give your trick-or-treaters something sweeter than the candy you’re handing out – the gospel! Halloween-themed tracts are available at the Tract Rack for pickup during the month of October.
 
COFFEE HOUR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We sure do appreciate having coffee between services and people willing to come in to make the coffee and set up all those goodies. Our coffee team could use your help. They are looking for a few more people to join the team.  It’s a once a month time commitment.  If you are interested, please talk to the Puccios or any of the team members in the kitchen.  
 
Pictures Needed FBC would like to honor any veteran who has served. If you have not done so previously, please send in a picture of your veteran in military dress, if possible, to the church office by Next Sunday! Include name and branch of military served.  
 
October is pastor appreciation month! Card boxes are located in the main lobby this month. 
 
The Barnabas Basket is our monthly food collection. All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket is located in the main foyer. November’s Need: TUNA & CANNED MEATS. They are looking for volunteers to help distribute food the 2nd Sat. of every month.
