Missionary Reception – Barry & Peggy Owen with World Venture in Taiwan – Sunday (4/16) at 6PM – Come encourage and be encouraged as well as we hear how God is working. Dessert donations greatly appreciated!

Special Speakers Coming May 7th Jennifer Lake and Emily Shover from Dwell will be with us on Sunday, May 7th at 9:15am (during Sunday School hour) in the gym. They will be sharing about Dwell’s ministry, their outreach to the foster and adoption community, and how we as a church can wrap our arms around these families!!

Fishnet Meeting This Week! This group of amazing ladies will be meeting again on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please call Donna Outt.

Breakfast Sweets Needed! Our Sunday morning Coffee Hour team would be grateful for any homemade or store-bought breakfast foods. Please drop off in the kitchen before 9am. Many heartfelt thanks! Baptism Sunday is Coming! May 14th – If you would like to take the plunge in following Jesus’ example, let us know by April 30th!!

Christian Identity, Sexuality & Parenting Meeting – Sunday, April 30 at 6PM in the chapel. This event will be focused on today’s issues concerning sexuality and identity from a biblical perspective Pastor Luke will be discussing the biblical principles that guide our understanding of these topics and how we can effectively engage our children in discussion. It is open to all parents who are seeking guidance and support in navigating these important issues. We hope you will join us.

Spring Fling The FBC Spring Fling Tent Needs YOU! Spring Fling takes place on Saturday, May 6th from 9am-4pm. We will be passing out church literature and bottles of water. MOPS is taking care of the craft area. Sign up today in the lobby or gym to help during a time slot at the FBC tent. Great opportunity for ALL ages!

Memorial Easter Flowers Potted Easter flowers may be ordered in honor or memory of a loved one. The suggested donation is $10. They will be available to take home on Easter Sunday after the services. Please contact the church office by Sunday, April 2 to participate.

Organ Concert/Hymn Sing Sunday (3/19), 7pm in the Sanctuary – Carol Cotner, will be playing select organ pieces as well as accompanying us in singing various hymns. Don’t miss this unforgettable evening of music!

Easter Choir Here’s your invitation to join the Easter Choir! Practices begin tomorrow night 7:15-8:30pm in the sanctuary! If you are interested in joining the choir, come to a rehearsal! Our only requirements are that you love the Lord, attend rehearsals and can match pitch!

Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Sunday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Chili & Cornbread & the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for
special needs are free of charge.

Missionary Reception for Joaquin Vargas with Global One80 Sunday (2/26) at 6PM. Come encourage and be encouraged as well as we hear how God is working. Dessert donations greatly appreciated!

Offering Envelopes Did you know you can request your own box of offering envelopes? Just fill out an info slip on the ushers’ table, located in the back of the sanctuary. Need more of your envelopes? Just make a note on your connect card! You’ll be able to pick them up from the ushers’ table once they’re ready.

Lost and Found is located in the brown cabinet outside the gym doors. First aid kits can be found in the coat room behind sanctuary and in the cabinet outside the gym.

God’s Blueprint for Manhood This new Sunday School class is open to all men. Come join us as we look at the character qualities God wants to form in every man as found in 1 Timothy and Titus. We will be using this course as a foundation for developing church leaders. Please sign up so we have an idea of how many will be attending. Sign ups are in the main lobby and gym. The class will start March 12th. Location TBD.

The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in the main foyer. March’s Need: Cereal

Special Business Meeting Sunday @ 9:10am All voting members are encouraged to attend as we will be voting on: Omar Yumen as Deacon & Larry Wilkie as Assistant Financial Secretary.

Baptism Sunday during 10:30am service!! Several have made the decision to follow Jesus’ example in baptism! Please encourage them today and in their ongoing walk with Jesus.

Worship Night Our next worship night is tomorrow night!! Join us in the chapel at 7pm for a laid back night of singing songs of praise to our amazing God!

FBC Connect If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! This 3-part class will take place in the Conference Room (across from the church office) during the Sunday School hour. Begins tomorrow | 9:15AM

Joni & Friends Meeting There will be an informational meeting, about the summer mission trip to Joni & Friends on Sunday at 9:15am in the conference room. Anyone interested in going is welcome to attend!!

Awana Derby Workshop THIS FRIDAY, FEB. 17 – 6-8PM – Parents/Guardians and their kiddos will be working on their derby cars to get them ready for the Awana Grand Prix on Saturday, Feb. 25. Want to help? Contact the church office. Any tools/materials you want to bring would be appreciated, but are not necessary. We are looking for carpenters to help out parents/guardians at each of the following work stations at the workshop:

Wood Cutting
Sanding
Painting
Wheels n Axles
Weigh Station

Experience Missions Packing Day Opportunity! There will be a packing day on Feb. 18th from 9am-12pm in Williamsport. We will be packing hygiene kits for Ukrainian refugees. Please wear close-toed comfortable shoes. Dress is casual but wear layers as the temperatures tend to fluctuate. Sign up in the lobby and welcome table in the gym. Blood Drive Monday – Stop by the BFLC (gym) from 12:30-5:30pm. The Red Cross is in need of blood and takes necessary precautions to keep everyone safe. Register for a time slot today at www.redcross.org.
