This ministry has lifted the hearts of many as the love of Christ is shared in a practical & much needed way. The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in the main foyer. August’s Need: Peanut Butter & Saltines

The Missionaries: Karen Sam Pang is the Children’s Ministry Director in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. She (along with her husband, Pastor Josue) & her team teach Bible classes on Sunday with music, crafts, & games. They also have outreach programs like VBS, Christmas programs & community outreach where they share food & school supplies with the children.

The Project: Support the Children’s Kitchen (meals for kids) and sports/ play area development (cement pad, artificial grass, sports/play equipment) at our partner church in Honduras 
Our Goal: $7,000 – Mark any donations “VBS Mission” or you can use the designated envelopes in the pews.
