The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in main foyer on August 6. August’s Need: Peanut Butter & Saltines

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt. Now till the end of August they will be meeting at the church in Room 7.

 

Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church as well. Come on over!

 

Kitchen Call Do you enjoy cooking? How about helping in the kitchen? Or setting up the dining area? Maybe even dishwashing! This well-loved ministry will be back in action soon and needs help! If interested, call the office.

 

Church Photo Directory Ever see someone and can’t remember their name? Or you have a name but no idea what they look like? It’s time to update our church directory. It would be great if we could have all our attenders in there, whether you have been coming here 6 months or 60+ years. We are doing something different this time. In order to include as many families as possible, we would LOVE for you to submit your favorite family portrait or individual selfie. Send photos to email@danvillefirstbaptist.org or text them to Rachel by Sept 24th. Along with your photo, please send any updated information you would like included in the directory. Need help? Call the office at (570) 275-1511 and we will set up a time for you to come in and have your picture taken. Directories will be printed later this year.Here are the guidelines…

First aid kits can be found in the coat room behind sanctuary and in the cabinet outside the gym.
