Family Movie Night THIS FRIDAY! Join us for an evening of fun and fellowship at our Family Movie Night this Friday, Aug. 23rd at 7pm in the gym. Bring your camp chairs for comfy seating, cozy blankets and any extra snacks to share. Popcorn will be provided. We will be showing Pixar’s UP©™.

Awana Clubs Registration open at danvillefirstbaptist.org/awana/ for kids age 3 through 6th grade.

Men’s Basketball Guys 18 & up are invited to play a few pickup games Sunday evenings from 5-7pm in the gym. For questions or more information, contact Rawle Clarke.

Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church. Come on over!

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.

FBC Connect is Coming!! If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! This 3-part class will take place on Sept. 22, 29 & Oct. 6 in the Conference Room (across from the church office) during the Sunday School hour.

Our Baptism Service is Going to the River! September 8 @ 4pm – If you would like to take the plunge in following Jesus’ example, let us know on your connect card by Sunday, Sept 1st. Located at the Danville River Front Park by the bridge. Bring your chair and join us as we celebrate the public statement of changed life! This is weather and river conditions pending. The backup date is the following Sunday.

Kitchen Call! Do you enjoy cooking? How about helping in the kitchen? Or setting up the dining area? Maybe even dishwashing! Wednesday Family Meals will be back in action SOON and they need your help! Circle K on your connect card or call the office!

Devoted A class dedicated to following God’s design for marriage and challenging one another to live it out. This group led by Pastor John & Shelly Messner will be meeting Wed. nights at 6pm in the back of the sanctuary beginning September 4.

DivorceCare Divorced? Separated? Struggling in your marriage? Divorce Care is a special seminar and support group that will walk with you through topics like, What’s happening to me?, Facing My Anger, KidCare, Forgiveness, Financial Survival and more. Registration cost is $15.
