Family Meal Wednesday
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Hamburger BBQ, Mac & Cheese, Broccoli Salad and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.
New Sunday School Class The new elective class begins next week, Oct. 22, in the old choir room (Room 102). They will be studying Paul David Tripp’s book Do You Believe? Anyone is welcome to join.
Fishnet Meeting This Week This group of amazing ladies will be meeting again on Thursdays from 10AM-12 here at the church to help pack the treat bags for the Trunk or Treat event coming up.
Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church as well. Come on over!
Breakfast Sweets Needed Our Sunday morning Coffee Hour team would be grateful for any homemade or store-bought breakfast foods. Please drop off in the kitchen before 9am. Many heartfelt thanks! Wanna join the team? Talk to one of the team members. They will walk you through what you need to know! A HUGE Thank You for the donations we’ve received!!

Project Love Night of Worship is Sunday (10/15) 6PM at the Danville Middle School.
Candy Collection & Help for Trunk-or-Treat The Danville Primary School will be hosting their 3rd Annual Trunk-or-Treat event on 10/25 from 5-7pm and FBC will have a trunk present! Here are a few ways you can help:
- Pray for safety & that the gospel would reach searching hearts
- Candy donations! Donation bins are located in main foyer and gym. DUE SUNDAY!
- Help with event! Call the office if you want to get in on the fun!
- Pack treat bags on Thursday , Oct 19 @ 10AM in the gym.
October is Pastor Appreciation month! Card boxes are in the main lobby.
College Ministry Opportunity! Here is a way for us as a church to show our college students our love and support. We are collecting items that we will send out late October. You can donate things like snacks, candy and stationery. For a complete list, please see the table by the office or the Welcome Table in the gym! Donation Box is by the kitchen. If you would like your student to receive a package, please submit their information even if nothing has changed!! We will be packing the boxes on Monday the 23rd at 6pm in the gym! Monetary donations would also be greatly appreciated to help cover the cost of shipping. Designate “College Ministry” & place in offering.

Seats & Feet The Good Samaritan is collecting NEW socks & underwear for students in the DASD, ages K-12 boys & girls. Please place the items in the designated baskets in the Main Lobby and gym areas. Donations are due by Nov. 5. Good Samaritan will then distribute among the schools.
Montour County Feed A Friend Collection basket will be in the Main Foyer through the month of October! Top Suggestions: Canned items such as vegetables, tuna, cranberry sauce, fruit, soup; Pasta & Sauce; Mac & Cheese, Boxed Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, etc. No refrigerated or frozen items, please.
Experience Missions October 21 Williamsport—9am to 1pm – Sign up at www.experiencemissions.com. You can also check out other available dates. This is a great family or sports team project!

Lost Something? The closet has been updated with items that could belong to you. You may just find that missing jacket, Bible or water bottle. The Lost & Found Closet is located next to the kitchen.
Church Library Open SUNDAYS | 9:15am – 10:15am & WEDNESDAYS | 5 – 7pm – Did you know?? Besides fiction and Children’s books, We also carry Bible Studies, Apologetics, Counseling, Biographies, DVD’s, Missions, Pre-Teen & Teen Resources and so much more. October is Church Library month, so make sure you check out this great, ever expanding resource! This would be a great time to check your shelves and closets for any outstanding books you may have.
