Family Meal Wednesday
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Tomorrow: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Chicken Divan (chicken, broccoli, cheese) & the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

“SAY YES” Wall Volunteer opportunities are being added weekly. Make sure you check it out and prayerfully consider where you can serve. Ministry Heads, if you are looking for help, let the office know and we will get it on the wall.

Care & Concern Ministry began in October ‘03 and is a group of some of the biggest hearts around. They make and take meals to those who have had babies, surgery or are going through a tough time. This ministry has lifted the hearts of many as the love of Christ is shared in a practical & much needed way. Let us know if you would like to be on our call list & provide the contact number you’d prefer.

Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church as well. Come on over!

Fishnet Meeting This Week! This group of amazing ladies will be meeting again on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please call Donna Outt.

FBC Connect Starts Next Week! Sept. 24, Oct 1 & 8 @ 9:15 AM – If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! This 3-part class will take place in the Conference Room (across from the church office) during the Sunday School hour. Let us know on your connect card or call the office. (570) 275-1511.

PRAYER WALK is Next Sunday after 2nd service. Meet at Canal St. Park Amphitheater. We look forward to having many people there and seeing what God will do as we pray for our community! Bring water & a snack.

Fall Business Meeting is Thursday, September 28 @ 7PM. Please join us in the chapel! We value your input as we discuss various items that are happening here at church.

Church Photo Directory Please submit all pictures and information to the office by Sept. 24th. You can email the church office email@danvillefirstbaptist.org or text Rachel. Additional info is available on the tables in the main lobby and BFLC. Rachel will be available 9/24 & 10/1 to take pictures between services for anyone interested.

Seats & Feet The Good Samaritan is hosting a Socks & Underwear Drive. They are collecting NEW socks & underwear for students in the Danville School District, ages K-12 boys & girls. Please place the items in the designated baskets in the Main Lobby and gym areas.
Donations are due by Nov. 5. Good Samaritan will then distribute among the schools.

New Sunday Bible School Class Opportunity We are thinking of starting a new adult Sunday School class to begin October 8 going through Paul David Tripp’s book “Do You Believe?”. If you are looking for a Sunday School class or would be interested in attending, please let us know by signing up on the ramp bulletin board or in Main Lobby.

The library will be closed Sunday, September 17. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Football Chapel This Friday! 6:55AM in the Iron Forge – Games for the Danville High School Football team are upon us, as are football chapels! The students meet at 6:55am on Friday mornings prior to games for prayer and devotions…and breakfast!!
