Baptism Sunday Coming! February 19 – If you would like to take the plunge in following Jesus’ example, let us know by 1/29.

Missionary Reception – Next Sunday 1/29 @ 6pm – Lukas Grudda with World Venture Senegal is with us today. Join us in the gym at 6pm as we hear what God has been doing in and through his life and his family as well. Come encourage him and be encouraged as well. Dessert donations greatly appreciated!

Family Meal Wednesday
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Baked Ziti & Salad & the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for
special needs are free of charge.

Security Clearance Update Are your clearances up to date? Please check the updated list on the bulletin board in the Sunday School office.

Calling all Prayer Warriors It’s time to update our Prayer Chain, which is available by phone and/or email. If you would like to be added, contact the church office.

Missed Game Night? We have another one coming up this Friday, Feb. 3rd at 6pm in the gym. Come on out for a fun night of game play for the entire family! Bring your favorite board game or 10 and a snack to share.

Ordination Service For Dan Jones – Next Sunday, February 5 @ 3PM – All are invited! Come encourage our brother in the Lord as he responds to this call on his life. Refreshments in the gym following the service.

Harvey Cedars Summer Camp – Sign Ups are Happening Now!! Scholarships Available. Sign ups are due by TUESDAY! $50 non-refundable deposit due March 22. Contact Pastor Luke for more info. pluke@danvillefirstbaptist.org

Project: Surprise Valentine! – Grab an envelope at the Welcome Desk and/or Welcome Table for a homebound individual or couple to love on for Valentine’s Day! Send them notes, cards, homemade drawings, or any special idea you come up with.

Joni & Friends Meeting – There will be an informational meeting, about the summer mission trip to Joni & Friends on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 9:15am
in the conference room. Anyone interested in going is welcome to attend!!

The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in the main foyer. February’s Need: Soup

Awana DERBY WORKSHOP – FRIDAY, FEB. 17 – 6-8PM – Parents/Guardians and their kiddos will be working on their derby cars to get them ready for the Awana Grand Prix on Saturday, Feb. 25. Want to help? Contact the church. Any tools/materials you want to bring would be appreciated, but are not necessary. We are looking for “pros” to help out parents/guardians at each of the following work stations at the workshop:

Wood Cutting
Sanding
Painting
Wheels n Axles
Weigh Station

Worship Night – Our next worship night will be held Sunday, February 19th. Join us in the chapel at 7pm for a laid back night of singing songs of praise to our amazing God!
