FBC Connect Class BEGINS SUNDAY! 9:15AM – If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! This 3-part class will take place in the Conference Room (across from the church office) during the Sunday School hour.
Church Potluck NEXT SUNDAY 12pm in Gym – Dr. David Whitaker, President of Venture Church Network will be here during our services. All are invited to attend a potluck following the 10:30am service where we will be hearing more from Dr. Whitaker. Sign up in your Sunday School Class, the Main Lobby or Gym!
NEW! Join the Elective Sunday School Class as they go through Paul David Tripp’s book “Do You Believe?”. If you missed it the first time, here is your opportunity to join the class as they restart the book on October 6th. They meet in Room 102 (hallway off the sanctuary) at 9:15am.
“Say Yes” Wall Stop by the wall outside the chapel for opportunities to serve.
Men’s Basketball Guys 18 & up are invited to play a few pickup games Sunday evenings from 5-7pm in the gym. For questions or more information, contact Rawle Clarke.
Care & Concern Ministry began in October ‘03 and is a group of some of the biggest hearts around. They make and take meals to those who have had babies, surgery or are going through a tough time. This ministry has lifted the hearts of many as the love of Christ is shared in a practical & much needed way. Circle “C” if you would like to be on our call list & write the contact number you’d prefer on your connect card.
Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.

Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office Menu: Meatloaf, Scalloped Potatoes, Green Beans, and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

Dessert Reception Sunday, Oct. 6 @ 6PM – We will be hearing from our team that went to Word of Life, Canada, in June. All are invited to join us for ice cream sundaes in the gym as we hear how the team was able to minister to our missionaries, Jonathan & Melissa Ward. Dessert donations greatly appreciated!
Donuts with the Deacons a “Meet Your Deacon” Event Sunday, Oct. 6 9-9:20 & 10:10-10:30am – Did you know you are assigned to a deacon (by your last name) and are able to contact them with any questions or problems you may have? Here is the chance to meet your deacon! Sunday, Oct. 6th between the services and Sunday School, come on down to the gym, grab your coffee and a donut and find your table to talk to your deacon!
Tacos with the Team FOR NEW ATTENDERS! SUNDAY. Oct. 6 in the gym, after the 10:30am service. Come for a chance to meet the pastors and staff during this informal lunch. Interested?? Sign up in the lobby, gym, or your Sunday School class.

Candy Collection & Help for Trunk-or-Treat The Danville Primary School will be hosting their 4th Annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 5-7pm and FBC will have a trunk present! Rain date is Wed., Oct. 23. Here are a few ways you can help:
- Pray for safety & that the gospel would reach searching hearts.
- Candy donations! Donation bins are located in main foyer and gym.
- Help with the event! Call the office if you want to get in on the fun!
- Pack treat bags on Thursday, Oct 17 @ 9AM in the gym.
Project Love 2024
Oct. 12 is the Day of Service where several area churches come together to show love to the Danville area through community-wide
service projects. Signup at www.projectlovedanvillepa.com or scan QR code to participate in one of the projects.

- Exterior clean-up, crafts at the Gate House 9:30-12, 8 and up
- Painting, minor clean-up at Washingtonville FD 9:30-12, all ages
- Cleaning, organizing at Thomas Beaver Library 9:30-12:30, all ages
- Painting, clean-up trails & lawn at Montour Preserve 10-1, all ages
- Assisting residents around their fall fest at Grandview 12-2pm, all ages
- Crafts, bingo, activities at Vintage Knolls 2-4pm, all ages
- Prayer walk beginning across from Cole’s 4:30-5:30pm, all ages
If you do NOT have a computer, there are paper signups in the main lobby.
