Family Meal Wednesday
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Ham & Cheese Sliders, Veggies, Chips and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.

Christmas Opportunities Coming Soon Christmas will be here before we know it. The Christmas cards for the prisoners will be available to pick up next week and the Tree of Love will be set up the week of Thanksgiving!

Annual Business Meeting is SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16 @ 9AM – Breakfast served at 8:30AM. Please pick up a copy of the proposed Constitutional changes and the Annual Report for review. One per family. Also, the proposed budgets and Nominating Committee report are posted on the ramp bulletin board for review before the meeting. We encourage your attendance as we discuss these matters. Please sign up in lobby if you are coming for breakfast!!

International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians This day is set aside as a global prayer meeting on behalf of persecuted Christians who stand as a bold witness to Christ on the world’s most dangerous frontiers. Prayer guides are available at the mission wall and Welcome Table in the gym.

Costa Rica Benefit Dinner Sat., Nov. 23 @ 6pm – Come for a delicious meal of spaghetti & meatballs, salad, garlic bread, and desserts prepared by the students and parents. The cost is free and all donations will go towards the Youth Mission trip in June. Sign-ups and details coming soon!!

Winterwear Collection We are collecting gently used, like-new winter outerwear, e.g. coats, hats, gloves, scarves, snowpants, etc. They will be delivered to Rochester, NY where our missionary Marvin Robinson will hand them out to the community. Donation Box in main lobby. Due 11/17.

School Supplies Needed We are collecting new school supplies for the upcoming trip to Honduras in Dec. We are also asking for NEW, SMALL stuffed animals (no bigger than a Beanie Baby) to hand out during the kids’ ministry time. Baskets are in the main lobby & gym. Here is a list of items we are looking for:

Pencil Sharpeners

Thanksgiving Eve Service Wednesday, November 27 @ 7PM – This service celebrates and gives thanks to God for all He has done for us throughout the year. There will be a time of worship, prayer, thanksgiving & devotion. You are welcome to bring visiting family & friends, as well! We hope to see you there.

Thanksgiving tracts are now available to take at the Tract Rack.

Christmas Choir Rehearsals begin Monday, Nov. 25th at 7:15pm in the sanctuary. Choir will sing December 15th at both services. Contact Pastor John if interested. pjohn@danvillefirstbaptist.org.

Ladies Walking Group Thursday @ 6:30pm in the gym – This group is for ladies of all ages and walking abilities. This will be the last meeting till January.

Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM in the BFLC – This great group of guys meet for devotions, prayer time and lots of
fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church. Come on over!
