Family Meal in TWO Weeks!
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Shepherd’s Pie and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.
 
Outerwear Collection We are once again collecting gently used, like new outerwear for our missionaries, the Robinson’s to hand out to people in Rochester, NY. Look for box in Main Lobby. Donations due Nov. 17th.
 
Ladies Grief Group will be starting up again on Wednesday evenings, beginning Nov. 6th in the Conference Room. If you have lost someone, you do not need to go through it alone! This group provides a safe and supportive space to share experiences and find comfort in each other’s company.
 
SAVE THE DATE The Annual Business Meeting is coming up on Saturday, November 16th @ 9am. Ministry heads—your reports are due this Friday!
 
Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.

Brief Special Business Meeting Sunday (10/20) Immediately following the 8AM service. We’ll be voting on new member candidates recommended by our Board of Deacons.
 
COMMUNITY PRAYER WALK Sunday (10/20) after the 10:30 service. Meet at the Canal St. amphitheater (stage) by Beiter’s. We will split into groups for the walk with one group staying at the stage area. Please wear comfortable shoes. Food and water will be provided.
 
HONDURAS SUPPORT LETTERS Stop by the mission wall in the Main Lobby to pick up a support letter for our Honduras team! Prayerfully consider how you can help!!
 
Fall Festival is Saturday, October 26 12-3PM. Events & Activities include: Hayrides | Apple Slinging | Hot Dogs & Hamburgers | Cotton Candy
Hot Apple Cider | Crafts | Apple Dumplings | Popcorn | Toddler Area | Glow Experience….AND MORE! And its FREE! How Can I Help?  Volunteer sign-ups are in main foyer. Where can YOU serve? Questions? Call the office at (570) 275-1511. Set up help, Oct. 23, 24, 25 at 6pm. If anyone is willing and able to help, we would appreciate it. It is a massive undertaking We are so excited to reach our community for Christ in this capacity, so many thanks in advance!
 
College Care Ministry Donation bin is located by the Kitchen. Monetary donations are gratefully accepted to help with postage. Please designate “College ministry” and place in the offering. Student Info is due Sunday (10/20). Submit student info even if info hasn’t changed.

Samaritan’s Purse Mission Trip Info Meeting Sun., Oct. 27 @ 9am. Under balcony in sanctuary We are organizing a team to assist with hurricane relief and rebuilding efforts. If you feel called to help, please join us for an informational meeting on the last Sunday of this month. Josh Long will be sharing his experience in working with Samaritan’s Purse. Your participation can make a significant difference!
 
Montour County Feed A Friend Collection basket will be in the Main Foyer through the month of October! Top Suggestions: Canned items such as vegetables, tuna, cranberry sauce, fruit, soup; Pasta & Sauce; Mac & Cheese, Boxed Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, etc. No refrigerated or frozen items, please.
 
Halloween is almost here! Give your trick-or-treaters something sweeter than the candy you’re handing out – the gospel! Halloween-themed tracts are available at the Tract Rack for pickup during the month of October.
 
Pictures Needed FBC would like to honor any veteran who has served. If you have not done so previously, please send in a picture of your veteran in military dress, if possible, to the church office by November 3rd. Include name and branch of military served.
 
October is Pastor Appreciation Month! Card boxes are located in the main lobby for the month of October.
 
Church Library SUN | 9:15 – 10:15am WED | 5-7pm. Did you know?? Besides Fiction and Children’s books, we also carry Bible Studies, Apologetics, Counseling, Biographies, DVD’s, Missions, Pre-Teen & Teen Resources and so much more. October is Church Library Month. Now would be a great time to check your shelves for any overdue books that need returned!
