Church Missions Picnic Sunday (8/11)! Join us after the 2nd service for our picnic lunch in the gym where we will be hearing more from Dr. Derek Webster, President of Missions Door, about how the Lord is working through this ministry

SPECIAL OFFERING OPPORTUNITY We are collecting donations to go towards our FBC-supported missionaries for Christmas gifts. This will ensure they get it in plenty of time. Special envelopes are available in the pew racks. Please note “Christmas” on your check.

FBC Summer Reading Program Turn in your Reading Cards to the Library SUNDAY with your parent’s signature for a small prize. Thanks for participating!

“Say Yes” Wall Stop by the wall outside the chapel to find opportunities to serve.

Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church. Come on over!

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer, 536 Fourteenth St., Riverside. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.

River Baptism! Our next baptism service will be held down at the river (weather and river conditions pending) on Sept. 8 with an alternate date on the 15th.

FBC Connect is Coming! If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! This 3-part class will take place on Sept. 22, 29 & Oct. 6 in the Conference Room (across from the church office) during the Sunday School hour.

Family Movie Night Coming Soon!! Join us for an evening of fun and fellowship at our Family Movie Night on Friday, Aug. 23rd at 7pm in the gym. Bring your camp chairs for comfy seating, cozy blankets and snacks to share.

Kitchen Call! Do you enjoy cooking? How about helping in the kitchen? Or setting up the dining area? Maybe even dishwashing! Wednesday Family Meals will be back in action SOON and they need your help! Let the office know!

“God, Our Refuge” Ladies Retreat Weekend – Sept. 13-15, 2024 | Linck Hill Inn – Ladies 18+ are invited to a great weekend of Bible study (diving into the Psalms), games, food, service project, building relationships and creating new ones, and much more. Registration forms are in the lobby! Balance is due August 25th!

Band of Brothers Men’s Retreat – October 11-13, 2024 – Men, here is your opportunity to get together with other guys for the weekend or just the day. It will be packed with action, hearing truth from God’s Word and time to recharge. Talk to Pastor John for more details. Sign up in the lobby.
