ANNOUNCEMENTS

Missionary Reception – Barry & Peggy Owen with World Venture in Taiwan – Sunday (4/16) at 6PM – Come encourage and be encouraged as well as we hear how God is working. Dessert donations greatly appreciated!

COFFEEHOUSE – CALLING ALL TALENTS! – Friday, APRIL 21 at 6PM – Grab a cup of coffee in the gym while enjoying the many different gifts of our church family! If you would like to participate, there is still time!

Family Meal Wednesday
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Chef’s Surprise & the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

Special Speakers Coming May 7th Jennifer Lake and Emily Shover from Dwell will be with us on Sunday, May 7th at 9:15am (during Sunday School hour) in the gym. They will be sharing about Dwell’s ministry, their outreach to the foster and adoption community, and how we as a church can wrap our arms around these families!!

Fishnet Meeting This Week! This group of amazing ladies will be meeting again on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please call Donna Outt.

Breakfast Sweets Needed! Our Sunday morning Coffee Hour team would be grateful for any homemade or store-bought breakfast foods. Please drop off in the kitchen before 9am. Many heartfelt thanks! Wanna join the team? Talk to one of the team members and they will walk you through what you need to know! A HUGE Thank You for the donations we’ve received!!

MEN’S MINISTRY FORUM – Food, Fellowship, Worship – This Saturday, April 22 9-10:30am | Gym – ALL YOU CAN EAT PANCAKE BREAKFAST. RSVP by signing up in the lobby/gym/ramp. Donations of pancake mix would be greatly appreciated!

College Care Ministry This is our opportunity to support & show love to our college students during finals! Donation bin is located by the Kitchen. Monetary donations are gratefully accepted to help with postage. Please designate “College ministry” and place in the offering.

Lost Something? Check out the display of Lost & Found items in the gym THIS SUNDAY & NEXT! Items will be donated and/or thrown out by 4/24.

Ladies Tea Saturday, Apr. 29 at 2PM – Buzz on over with your mom, sister, friend, daughter, aunt and join us for a fun and relaxing afternoon. Feel free to bring your favorite teacup or mug to use! Sign up in lobby, gym or ramp.

Spring Clean Up Saturday, April 29 | 8A-1P – Join us in taking care of the building and property God has given us! Then stick around for a pizza lunch! Great for all ages and abilities! Sign up by Apr 23rd.

National Day of Prayer – Thursday, May 4th @ Noon – Join us and other local churches on the steps of the Montour County Courthouse to pray for our Nation, its leaders, teachers, service personnel, and more. Rain or shine! Bring a camp chair if you like.

Baptism Sunday is Coming! May 14th – If you would like to take the plunge in following Jesus’ example, let us know by April 30th!!

Christian Identity, Sexuality & Parenting Meeting – Sunday, April 30 at 6PM in the chapel. This event will be focused on today’s issues concerning sexuality and identity from a biblical perspective Pastor Luke will be discussing the biblical principles that guide our understanding of these topics and how we can effectively engage our children in discussion. It is open to all parents who are seeking guidance and support in navigating these important issues. We hope you will join us.

Spring Fling The FBC Spring Fling Tent Needs YOU! Spring Fling takes place on Saturday, May 6th from 9am-4pm. We will be passing out church literature and bottles of water. MOPS is taking care of the craft area. Sign up today in the lobby or gym to help during a time slot at the FBC tent. Great opportunity for ALL ages!
