October is Pastor Appreciation Month! Card boxes are in the main lobby.
Local Food Packing Opportunity October 21st will be a food packing day (one of several) at Experience Missions in Williamsport from 9am-1pm. For more information and to sign up, go to www.experiencemissions.com.
Red Cross Blood Drive will be here next Monday, October 9th, in the BFLC (gym) from 12:30-5:30pm.
Fishnet Meeting This Week! This group of amazing ladies will be meeting again on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please call Donna Outt.
Fellowship Fund Giving Opportunity In following the biblical directive to take care of our widows and orphans, FBC created the fellowship fund. This fund not only blesses those financially hurting in our church family, but also those who desire to invest in their marriages. If you would like to give, please note “Fellowship Fund” in the memo of your check or on your envelope.

Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Chili & Cornbread, Salad, & the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

Project Love October 14-15 is 2 WEEKS AWAY!! Oct. 14 is the Day of Service. Signup on the Project Love website. www.projectlovedanvillepa.com **There are now paper signups in the Main Lobby and on the Welcome Table in the gym! Please see these signups for all available projects!
Project Love Night of Worship Oct 15th @ 6pm at the Danville Middle School. Join us as we close out the weekend in worship.
New study coming this Wednesday evening for the Devoted Marriage Class! This group meets at 6pm in the back of the sanctuary. Books will be available at the class with a suggested donation of $10.
Candy Collection & Help for Trunk-or-Treat The Danville Primary School will be hosting their 3rd Annual Trunk-or-Treat event on 10/25 from 5-7pm and FBC will have a trunk present! Here are a few ways you can help:
- Pray for safety & that the gospel would reach searching hearts
- Candy donations! Donation bins are located in main foyer and gym. Donations due 10/15.
- Help with event! Call the office if you want to get in on the fun!
- Pack treat bags on Thursday , Oct 19 @ 10AM in the gym.
College Ministry Opportunity Here is a way for us as a church to show our college students our love and support. We are collecting items that we will send out late October. You can donate things like snacks, candy and stationery. For a complete list, please see the table by the office or the Welcome Table in the gym! Donation Box is by the kitchen. If you would like your student to receive a package, please submit their information even if nothing has changed!! Monetary donations would also be greatly appreciated to help cover the cost of shipping. Designate “College Ministry” & place in offering or drop off in the office. Student info Due: Oct. 15. Donations Due: Oct. 22
Montour County Feed A Friend Collection basket will be in the Main Foyer through the month of October! Top Suggestions: Canned items such as vegetables, tuna, cranberry sauce, fruit, soup; Pasta & Sauce; Mac & Cheese, Boxed Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, etc. No refrigerated or frozen items, please.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION! Our security team will be conducting a fire drill on Sunday, Oct. 15th during the Sunday School hour. Rain date is Oct. 22nd.

Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Relief Team Planning Meeting October 8 @ 9:15 am under balcony. We would like to organize another trip to a
disaster area in the US. There are many opportunities, and the trip would be open to men & women. There would be some demolition but focused mainly on reconstructing damaged homes.
