New Bern Trip team is now full!! They’ll be off to NC in September!

See You Next Year! After much prayer and carefully watching the local health climate, we sadly came to the decision to cancel VBS for this year. It was a hard decision and now we are even more excited about next year’s VBS! We encourage you to check out our VBS webpage for free resources from Answers in Genesis to be able to have your own VBS at home!

Sisters in Christ Ladies Retreat The sisters in Christ leadership team has made the difficult decision to cancel the retreat for this year. They are eagerly making plans for next year already. Any deposits paid are currently in the process of being refunded. Questions? Call Sheri Croll.

Giving Opportunity Next Week Donations given to our Fellowship Fund are used to assist those in our church who are struggling during these hard times. “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.” Proverbs 19:17

Summer Office Hours are now in effect through August 14. We are open from 9am to 3pm, Monday through Friday for any needs you may have.

Summer Campground Ministry Has Begun! Join our own Terry Davis and the Shamokin Area Christian Laymen as they share the good news each Sunday!

Farewell Dr. Jim & Mary Blankenship as you start your new chapter in New Mexico! Your FBC family will dearly miss you. We are praying for a safe transition and for your next church family to welcome you with open arms!

Making a Come Back Next Sunday! The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). The bulletin will list the suggested item of the month, but any child-friendly food is welcome during the summer. All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in main lobby for the 8AM and at the welcome tent for the 10:30AM. July’s need is Boxes & Cups of Jell-O and Pudding.

Women’s Open Door Bible Study – Summer Study Begins July 6 @ 8:15 PM & July 7 @ 9:30 AM – We welcome all women from all walks of life
to join us in July for another study via Zoom! While often overlooked, the Book of Jude remains as relevant today as the time it was written. God has commanded His beloved church to do the necessary work of contending for the faith in a world of unbelief, and as we do, He will keep us from falling into the same deception. In this 7-session study from Jackie Hill Perry, dive into themes of being called, loved, and kept, and learn how to point others to Jesus in grace and truth. We serve others well when we share the whole gospel with them, not just the parts deemed attractive by our culture. Study Guides are available at the church – suggested donation of $15. We look forward to growing with you!

Safe Church Clearance Updates If your PA Criminal Background check and/or PA Child Abuse clearance need to be updated this year, you’ll be receiving a postcard notifying you when you’re within the 3 month window to be able to renew these 2 documents.
