IF Gathering 2021 – Saturday, April 24 9A-1P – Special Event for Women! Welcome all ladies from senior high up to age 99! Jennie Allen, author of many Christian women’s books and studies, is also the founder of IF Gathering which has an international following. She states that she wakes up every morning on a mission: disciple a generation by loving God more every day for who He is through His Word! We will be enjoying messages from the wonderful speakers of the IF Gathering team, discussion time, fellowship, yummy snacks, and more! The cost of the event is $25 per person. We will be masking and safe distancing in the gym.

 

Scholarship Funds Available: The Mission Board will be accepting applications for post-high school education from applicants planning to attend post-graduate training at an academic facility with the intention to pursue ministry or missionary work upon graduation. Applications can be picked up in the Church Office. Deadline to submit your application is May 9, 2021. For more information regarding the scholarship please contact Jeanie Wesner or Gary Lewis.

 

The 10:30 Service is Leaving the Building! Starting May 2, the 10:30 service will be on the tree-covered front lawn by the main entrance. Bring your camp chairs! Hot coffee and goodies will also be provided. Bring friends! Bad weather? We’ll be inside using the gym and sanctuary.

Fishnet Meeting This Week! This group of amazing ladies will be meeting again on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.

 

Prayer Guides Available – It’s Ramadan. This is the most sacred month of the year for Muslims and goes from April 13 to the evening of May 12. Let us continue to pray for our Muslim neighbors around the world during this time that they would come to know the One True God!

Sensory-Friendly Worship Area! “A shush-free, judgment-free zone where ALL can safely learn about God!” Our chapel has been fitted out with wiggle seats, fidget toys, dimmable lights, noise-canceling headphones, a calming special-effect light and more! We welcome all who have unique needs to enjoy this area during our 8AM services starting next week! Both services to be available in the Fall.

A Call to Prayer For Marriages – Thursday, April 29 – A CALL TO ACTION – These have been increasingly challenging times for marriages and the enemy desires to cause disruption and destruction of the home. It is with this in mind that we have scheduled a day of fasting and prayer for marriages and families. We are asking people to sign up for 15 minute time slots for prayer. We will be offering prayer guides of things we can be praying for concerning marriage and family. We’ll have them available in our newsletter and at the Info Desk and Welcome Table at church. We would also like to encourage you to fast for one meal that day and take the time you would normally use to eat to pray instead. There is much at stake and we serve the God of the impossible!
