ANNOUNCEMENTS

Thanksgiving Offering Envelopes are located in the pew racks for the next few Sundays. Donations will go toward Christmas gifts for the missionaries that we support as well as funding towards an upcoming short term relief missions trip. We’ll have more info on the trip to come.

Fishnet Partners Fishnet Ministries processes large quantities of goods that will be sent to the mission field. This Thursday, they will be working in Room 9 on processing eye glasses in the BFLC from 9-12pm. All are welcome!

Midweek Meal: Wednesday, November 14: Dinner is served 4:45-5:45 PM. This week’s menu is Pork BBQ Sandwiches & Chicken Noodle Soup & the desserts you bring. Please sign up by Monday, 11/12 on the Ramp Bulletin Board, in your SBS class or by calling the office. Suggested donation for meals is $3/person or $10/family. If you know of a shut-in or elderly person and would be willing to deliver a meal to them, it is free of charge. Please put their name on the sign up sheet and indicate “Shut-In”.
Desserts are on a donation basis, so feel free to share a dessert any time.

New to FBC? Check out our Info Cards to see all that FBC has to offer whether it’s on Sundays or Wednesdays, for adults or children, you won’t be disappointed! Cards are located at the Info Desk in the main lobby.

L.E.A.D. Luncheon Postponed! Stay tuned for the new date!

FBC is Hosting the Jubilee Kitchen on November 17. Monetary donations and desserts would be greatly appreciated. Please contact the church office if you are interested in donating and/or making
a dessert.

Fall into a Good Book Lately? Stop by our Library and rake in a bunch of good reads! Who knows what adventures you’ll go on as you leaf through the pages! The Library is located across from the Nurseries and is open 8:45-10:30am on Sundays and 5:45-7:30pm on Wednesdays.

Moms In Prayer International has a chapter here at FBC! The group meets in the conference room on Thursdays at 9:45am. “We believe God changes lives and whole communities forever when moms gather together to pray”. If you are a mom, aunt, grandmother, guardian, woman of prayer, come join us!

Missionary Newsletters Arrive Each Week! Take a moment to pick one up outside of the chapel. You will be rewarded with a new appreciation for our missionary families and have the ability to pray more specifically for their needs.

Power for Living & Weekly Prayer Sheets are available every Sunday. They are located at the Info Desk in the main lobby and in the wall display
outside of the Sunday Bible School office (lower level). Prayer sheets can also be found at the back of the sanctuary near the large print bulletins.

30 Hour Famine Nov. 16-17 Our Youth will be taking part in the 30 Hour Famine To help raise awareness and funds for hungry children around the world. Would you stand with us in praying for and/or donating to help us fight hunger? Checks can be made out to World Vision and given to P. Luke as the contact person or visit our fundraising page at youth.worldvision.org. Click on the orange Donate button and put Iron Youth in the search box.

Because of your Love In Action…

Mountains of candy were collected for Trunk-or-Treat
Several trips were made to take the Feed-a-Friend food to Shiloh
54lbs of pet food were collected for the Danville SPCA
The Haiti Team has a huge challenge to pack all the school
supplies, LuoPad kits, and more that were collected
Items collected for our LuoPad Team helped them exceed their goal of 500 kits and finish up with a grand total of 530 kits!
26 College Care packages were stuffed full and sent out
