Special Business Meeting Tomorrow after the 8am service. For your encouragement, Shawn McClintock has gone through the membership process. We will be calling a quick congregational vote.

This is the Last Week!!! Our Library welcomes kiddos from Kindergarten to 6th grade to take part in the Summer Scripture Reading Challenge! Stop in at our Library and pick up your challenge card and earn a prize once you have completed your mission! A parent/guardian signature is required on your completed card for prize eligibility. Cards are due by NEXT SUNDAY!

Montour-Delong Vesper Service Tomorrow Night @ 7pm. Worship by FBC Praise Team, Candlelight by 4-H, Free Will Offering – (Montour Co. K-9 Unit & EOS Therapeutic Riding Center). Join us at the fair’s pavilion – 5848 Broadway Road, Danville.

Barnabas Sunday is TOMORROW! Danville Food Bank need for August is Saltines and Peanut Butter. The basket is located in the main lobby.

Fellowship Fund Giving Opportunity In following the biblical directive to take care of our widows and orphans, FBC created the fellowship fund. This fund not only blesses those financially hurting in our church family, but also those who desire to invest in their marriages . If you would like to give, please note “Fellowship Fund” in the memo of your check or on your envelope.

Children’s Ministry Director Katie Yarger will be transitioning to her new role here at FBC beginning August 22nd. You can contact her at Katie@danvillefirstbaptist.org. God’s greatest blessing as she begins this new adventure.

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meet on Thursdays from 9:15am-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, contact Donna Outt.

Kitchen Call!! Do you enjoy cooking? How about helping in the kitchen? Or setting up the dining area? Maybe even dishwashing! This well-loved ministry will be back in action soon and needs help! Call the office if you are interested!

MOPS REGISTRATION NOW OPEN Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is part of an international movement to connect moms who have one or more children ages birth to kindergarten. Their goal is to provide you with a tribe of supportive women as you navigate the world of motherhood, faith, and life together. We are back in the building! If you or someone you know feels called to serve in the MOPs ministry, we would love some volunteers to pour into our kiddos in the nursery during our meetings the 2nd Wed. of the month, Sept-May, 9-11am, here at FBC. Football Chapel Starting Soon! First Football Chapel is August 26th @ 10am. Games for the Danville High School Football team are upon us, as are football chapels! The students meet at 6am on Friday mornings prior to games for prayer and devotions…and breakfast!! We are looking for help in the kitchen to make breakfast sandwiches for these hungry students. If you are interested contact the church office.

Blood Drive Tomorrow! Stop by the BFLC (gym) from 12:30-5:30pm. The Red Cross is in need of blood. Register for a time slot today at www.redcross.org.

Greeter Ministry is back!! Volunteers are needed to welcome everyone that God brings through our doors. Ministry time slots are 7:45-8:15am, 9-9:30am, and 10:10-10:40am. For more information, contact Linda Davies.

Ladies Retreat September 16-18 Linck Hill Inn in Morris, PA! Its not too late!! There are still a few spots available and we would love to have you join us! This year’s topic is the “The Lord’s Prayer” Applications available at Info Desk and at www.danvillefirstbaptist.org/womens-ministries/ Scholarships also available.
