Family Meals Beginning September 4
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Sept. 1st: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Hamburger BBQ, Mac & Cheese, Mixed Veggies and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

Honduras Missions Trip applications for the December 7-14, 2024 trip are available at the Missions wall in the main lobby. Deadline for submission is September 15th!! If you have questions, please call the office at (570) 275-1511. Applications may be turned in to the office.

“Say Yes” Wall Stop by the wall outside the chapel for opportunities to serve.

Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they help out around the church. Come on over!

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.

Awana Parent/Guardian Night is this Wednesday (8/28) at 7pm in the chapel.

Our Baptism Service is Going to the River! September 8 @ 4pm. If you would like to take the plunge in following Jesus’ example, let us know on your connect card by next Sunday, Sept 1st. Located at the Danville River Front Park by the bridge. Bring your chair and join us as we celebrate the public statement of changed life! This is weather and river conditions pending. The backup date is the following Sunday.

Ladies Bible Study begins Sept. 10 & 11. Revelation by Jen Wilkin. In 10 sessions of verse-by-verse Bible study, Jen Wilkin helps you

MINI TREASURE FEST The Sunday School supply closet has been cleaned out and there are treasures galore. There are lots of craft and school supplies. Check out the designated tables in the gym today and next week!

You’re invited to Wings of Hope 2nd Annual Memorial Butterfly Release Today at 2:30PM in the Gym Presented by Compassus Hospice
The public is invited to attend as families celebrate life, commemorate a special occasion or remember those who have passed on. The
ceremony will include music, inspirational messages, and a release of butterflies.

MIDEEK MINISTRIES BEGIN SEPT. 4 – INFO & SIGNUPS IN THE MAIN LOBBY
For students: Awana—age 3-6th gr., Youth Group—HS & MS
For adults: Adult Bible Study, Devoted (Couple’s Class), Divorce Care, & Ladies Bible Study (Preview night on the 4th, will begin book on 9/11).

Kitchen Call!! Do you enjoy cooking? How about helping in the kitchen? Or setting up the dining area? Maybe even dishwashing! Wednesday Family Meals will be back in action next week and could use your help! Circle K on your connect card!

Lost Something? The closet has been filling up with items that could belong to you. Please check the table in the gym for any items you may be missing. Anything left after next Sunday will be donated.
