Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Pizza with all the fixings, Salad and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

Fishnet Meeting This Week! This group of amazing ladies will be meeting again on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.

 

Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church as well. Come on over!

Disaster Relief Team Planning Meeting Today @ 9:15 am under balcony. We would like to organize another trip to a disaster area in the US. There are many opportunities and the trip would be open to men & women.

 

Blood Drive Monday Stop by the BFLC (gym) from 12:30-5:30pm. Register for a time slot today at www.redcross.org. They take all precautions during event.

 

FOR YOUR INFORMATION Our security team will be conducting a fire drill next Sunday, Oct. 15th during the Sunday School hour. Rain date will be Oct. 22nd. FYI: The elevator will be unavailable during the drill.

Candy Collection & Help for Trunk-or-Treat The Danville Primary School will be hosting their 3rd Annual Trunk-or-Treat event on 10/25 from 5-7pm and FBC will have a trunk present! Here are a few ways you can help:

 

College Ministry Opportunity Here is a way for us as a church to show our college students our love and support. We are collecting items that we will send out late October. You can donate things like snacks, candy and stationery. For a complete list, please see the table by the office or the Welcome Table in the gym! Donation Box is by the kitchen. If you would like your student to receive a package, please submit their information even if nothing has changed!! We will be packing the boxes on Monday the 23rd at 6pm in the gym! Monetary donations would also be greatly appreciated to help cover the cost of shipping. Designate “College Ministry” & place in offering.

 

Montour County Feed A Friend Collection basket will be in the Main Foyer through the month of October! Top Suggestions: Canned items such as vegetables, tuna, cranberry sauce, fruit, soup; Pasta & Sauce; Mac & Cheese, Boxed Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, etc. No refrigerated or frozen items, please.

 

Young Life is in need of a van! Young Life is a mission devoted to introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith. Several area churches involved with Young Life are purchasing a van for Brandon Casey (area leader) to use in transporting students to various functions. If you would like to give towards this ministry, please put it in an envelope designating Young Life and place in one of the offering boxes.
