Picnic with the Schaeffers David, Jillian and family will be here with us on Sunday, August 27th.  Join us after the second service for a picnic in the park, Sunnybrook Park that is, where we will be hearing more from David and Jillian and what’s happening next.  Hotdogs, hamburgers and desserts will be provided.  Please bring a side and/or drinks to share. Sign up in the lobby or gym areas.

 

Breakfast Sweets Needed Our Sunday morning Coffee Hour team would be grateful for any homemade or store-bought breakfast foods. Please drop off in the kitchen before 9am.  Many heartfelt thanks! Men’s Open Gym Senior High guys and older meet for a game or two of basketball, Mondays from 7-9pm.  Questions? Call group point person, Tony Zaklama.

 

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please call Donna Outt. Now till the end of August they will be meeting at the church in Room 7.

 

Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church as well. Come on over!

Kitchen Call Do you enjoy cooking? How about helping in the kitchen?  Or setting up the dining area? Maybe even dishwashing! Wednesday Family Meals will be back in action SOON and they need your help! If interested, contact the office. Also, if you know of any shut-ins that could use a meal on Wednesdays, call the office!!

 

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is starting a new season in September! MOPS encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with FBC. We get together about 3 times a month.  Our new theme is about Saying Yes to this year, in this place, with these people! Hope to see you there. Say Yes!:
