Dessert Reception Join us TONIGHT @ 6PM in the gym to hear about what the Lord is doing through the life of one of our own home grown missionaries. Dessert donations greatly appreciated!

Ladies Bible Study Starts This Week! Save the Date! We will be holding an ordination service for Dan Jones on Sunday, Feb. 5th at 3PM followed by refreshments in the gym. All are welcome to attend.

2022 Giving Reports will be mailed out in January for tax purposes. Prefer to have it emailed to you? Contact the church office.

Sensory-Friendly Worship Area! “A shush-free, judgment-free zone where ALL can safely learn about God!” Our chapel has been fitted with wiggle seats, fidget toys, dimmable lights, noise-canceling headphones, a calming special-effect light and more! We welcome all who have unique needs to enjoy this area during both services.

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please call Donna Outt.

Family Meal Wednesday
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Meatloaf, Rosemary Potatoes, & Broccoli & the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for
special needs are free of charge.

Annual Business Meeting Saturday, January 28 @ 9AM – YES! There will be breakfast! Join us for sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches, breakfast potatoes and fresh cinnamon buns. Sign up on your connect card or in your Sunday School class and note how many will be attending with you. The meeting will take place in the gym once everyone has gotten their food. We encourage your attendance as there will be many important matters of discussion. We’ll be covering the following:

Voting on newly nominated Board & Committee members
Voting on Constitution revisions, budgets & reports
Voting on a Trustee recommendation regarding the furnace

Cleaning Position Opening We are seeking a part time sexton responsible for cleaning the church. Must be willing to work at least 20 hours/week. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Buddy Yarger (570) 275-1511 or byarger@danvillefirstbaptist.org.

Calling All Prayer Warriors! It’s time to update our Prayer Chain! There is nothing more powerful than lifting each other in prayer to our Loving Father in times of great need. Prayer Chain is available by phone and/or email. If you would like to be added, contact the church office.

Bells of Joy are Back! Handbell choir is starting up again for the spring. Now is a great time to check it out! The first rehearsal will be next
Monday, January 23rd from 6-7:15pm in the Bell Room. Note: you need to be able to read music.

The Proposed Revisions of By-Laws & Constitution Now available. Make sure you pick up a copy at the Welcome Desk in the main lobby and Welcome Table in the gym. 1 per family.

Did you know you can request your own box of offering envelopes? Just fill out an info slip on the ushers table, located in the back of the sanctuary. Need more of your envelopes? Just make a note on your connect card! You’ll be able to pick them up from the usher’s table once they’re ready.

Lost and Found is located in the brown cabinet outside the gym doors.

First aid kits can be found in the coat room behind sanctuary and in the cabinet outside the gym.
