Baccalaureate is Sunday, May 21st, 7PM at the Danville High School. Pastor Dawes will be speaking at the service. All are welcome to attend! Donations of individually wrapped snacks would be greatly appreciated. Please drop any donations off at the kitchen by May 21st and mark it for baccalaureate.

 

Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they help out around the church as well. Come on over!

 

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.

 

Special Mother’s Day Offering Next Sunday is Mother’s Day and we will be focusing on our Mothers of Preschoolers group. A special freewill offering will be taken to bless our group. This should be above and beyond your normal giving. Please designate checks/envelopes with “MOPS”.

 

All Church Picnic Next Sunday! Mountain View Bible Camp, Snydertown – We are looking forward to gathering together once again! Grilled chicken, chips, & water will be provided. Side dishes and desserts will be welcome. There is also a basketball court and a ball field, so bring your gear. Sign-up today in the lobby or gym!

 

Scholarship Funds Available The Mission Board will be accepting applications for post-high school education from applicants planning to attend post-graduate training at an academic facility with the intent to pursue ministry or missionary work upon graduation. Applications can be picked up outside the Church Office. Deadline to submit your application is May 15th. For more information regarding the scholarship please contact Gary Lewis.

 

NEW!! Women’s Fitness Class: “Fit for His Purpose” Starts this Thursday and is open to women of all ages and fitness levels. We will be meeting in the old Youth Room from7-8pm. All are welcome!! Please bring a friend!

Ladies Open Door Summer Study Begins Wed., May 31st – Pastor Vance Pitman has read a chapter of Proverbs every day for 30 years. Draw from his wisdom gained from steeping in God’s wisdom. Through this four-session Bible study, you’ll gain an appreciation for this popular and applicable book as well as learn how to develop a daily habit of seeking wisdom from God’s Word. In person and zoom. Study books and sign ups are in the Main Lobby. Suggested book donation is $17. Childcare available upon request.
