Children’s Church Summer Schedule – Children’s Church wraps up Sunday (6/2) and will resume September 15. Many thanks to Rosann & team!

 

Junior Children’s Church begins on June 16 for 3 year olds (must be potty trained) to 5 year olds. Jr. Children’s Church will be dismissed during the 10:30 service, where parents can bring their kiddos down to the 1st grade class room in Noah’s Ark Hallway. Nursery sign-in procedure will apply. Pre-register by filling out a form at the Info Desk.

 

VBS TRAINING CLASSES – JUNE 10, 11, 20, 21 | 6:30pm (Monday & Tuesday of next week!) – You only need to attend one class. Sign-ups to volunteer are still available in the main lobby!

The Easter Offering will be split between our Forever Being Changed ministry expansion project and Widmy Mervilus, a missionary with Missions Door serving in Haiti. If you would like to participate, Easter Offering Envelopes are available in the pew racks.

Barnabas Sunday During the first Sunday of every month, FBC collects food items for the Danville Food Bank. The collection basket is in the Foyer today. April’s need is for Canned Fruit.

 

Easter Breakfast If you would like to help with this event let us know! They will be serving breakfast at 8:15am on Easter Sunday 4/21. We are also asking for donations of breakfast pastries. Please call the church office if interested in helping.

 

Blood Drive: Red Cross Blood Drive will be here Monday, April 15 in the BFLC from 1:00-6:00pm. Stop and see Jack and Brenda who will be serving food in the kitchen to all donors!

 

Midweek Meal: Wednesday, April 10: Dinner is served 4:45-5:45 PM. This week’s menu is Barbeque, Scalloped Potatoes, Green Beans & the desserts you bring. Please sign up by Monday, 4/8 on the Ramp Bulletin Board, in your SBS class or by calling the office. Suggested donation for meals is $3/person or $10/family. If you know of a shut-in or elderly person and would be willing to deliver a meal to them, it is free of charge. Please put their name on the sign up sheet and indicate “Shut-In”. Desserts are on a donation basis, so feel free to share a dessert any time.

 

Lovely Ladies Luncheon – May 19 at 12PM – Lunch will be served at noon in the BFLC for all single, divorced and widowed women. Sign up in the main foyer or by calling the church office.

 

Easter Flowers may be ordered in honor or memory of a loved one. The suggested donation is $9. They will be available to take home on Easter Sunday after the 10:30 AM service. Please contact the church office by April 14th to participate.

 

The Easter Offering will be split between our Forever Being Changed ministry expansion project and Widmy Mervilus, a missionary with Missions Door serving in Haiti. If you would like to participate, Easter Offering Envelopes will be available in the pew racks next week on Palm Sunday as well as Maundy Thursday and Easter Sunday.

Seder or Passover Meal – Sunday, April 28 ~ 6-8pm – Join Rabbi Mottel Baleston, an FBC supported missionary, who will take us through a traditional Seder meal, explaining its symbolism and how our Messiah can clearly be seen. Please Sign up by April 21.

M&M Tubes! Your M&M tube donations will go towards funding aid meals that we’ll be packing on our June 18 trip to the GAiN warehouse in Lancaster. More info to come! Please Return Tubes by June 9.

LuoPad Team Join us the first Thursday of every month at 9:30am as we continue to assemble LuoPads in the BFLC. This is an ongoing mission through GAiN that provides sanitary undergarments to women all over the world! We’d love to have you join us!
