PRAYER WALK Due to the impending weather, we are moving the Prayer Walk to Sunday, Sept. 24th. We look forward to having many people there and seeing what God will do as we pray for our community!

FBC Connect Class Coming Soon Begins 9/24 | 9:15AM – If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! New Sunday Bible School Class Opportunity We are thinking of starting a new adult Sunday School class 10/8 to go through Paul David Tripp’s book “Do You Believe?”. If you are looking for a Sunday School class or would be interested in attending, please let us know by signing up on the ramp bulletin board or in Main Lobby.
Care & Concern Ministry began in October 2003 and is a group of some of the biggest hearts around. This ministry has lifted the hearts of many as the love of Christ is shared in a practical & much needed way. Contact the office if you would like to be on our call list. Provide your contact number and area(s) where you can serve. They help out in the following areas as their gifts and abilities allow:
- Make and take meals to those who have had babies, surgery or are going through a tough time
- Drive people to appointments
- Sit with the homebound
- Help with lawn care
- Shovel snow off walk ways and driveways
- Light cleaning
Seats & Feets The Good Samaritan is hosting a Socks & Underwear Drive. They are collecting NEW socks & underwear for students in the Danville School District, ages K-12 boys & girls. Place the items in the designated baskets in the Main Lobby and gym areas. Donations are due by Nov. 5. Good Sam. will then distribute among the schools.

This fund not only blesses those financially hurting in our church family, but also those who desire to invest in their marriages. If you would like to give, please note “Fellowship Fund” in the memo of your check or on your envelope.

Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church as well. Come on over!

Our next Worship Night is Sunday (7/23) at the Montour-Delong Fair Vesper Service 7PM at the fairgrounds. The FBC praise team will be leading worship for the Vesper Service again this year. A massive “THANK YOU” to all those who served in VBS this year!
VBS MISSION OF THE WEEK: QUEBEC’S CHILDREN! The Missionaries: David and Kristy Kelly have five children and serve at the Sherbrooke campus of Word of Life (Parole de Vie) Bible Institute in French-speaking Quebec. Quebec is known as the “largest unreached
people group in North America”! They teach Bible classes as well as French to those desiring to serve in the mission field. The Project: Many have grown up not going to church and don’t know who Jesus is. Word of Life organizes summer camps for local children to come to learn about Jesus, hear the gospel message and, of course, have fun. The Numbers: Cost for 1 Child to go to camp: $150.00.
Family Fun Day is Sunday (7/16)!! Following the 10:30 service, everyone is invited to enjoy hotdogs and hamburgers, a slip-n-slide, dunk tank, a Little’s splash area, crafts, corn hole, and MORE! No cost! Volleyball & kickball games start at 12 & 12:15pm.

Red Cross Blood Drive will be here Monday, July 31st, in the BFLC (gym) from 12:30-5:30pm. The Red Cross is in need of blood and is taking every precaution to keep everyone safe during their collections. Register at www.redcross.org

VBS Begins Tomorrow! Please continue praying over this outreach opportunity! Volunteers, please meet up at 5PM in the sanctuary.
VBS Treats Needed! We would greatly appreciate grab-n-go friendly, sweet, or savory snack donations this week for our volunteers! Homemade or store-bought donations can be dropped off in the kitchen.

Following the VBS Closing ceremony during the 10:30 service, everyone is invited to enjoy hotdogs and hamburgers, a giant slip-n-slide, a Little’s Splash Area, crafts, Dunk Tank and MORE! No cost! We’ll also have volleyball & kickball games, can jam, lawn jenga, corn hole, and much more. (Outdoor events are weather pending)

- VBS is Next Week!! | 6-8:30PM – Register your kids today! Ages 3 (must be potty-trained) to 6th grade. PRINTED REGISTRATIONS AVAILABLE IN MAIN LOBBY AND GYM AREA.
- Knight’s Challenge – Invite 3 non-FBC friends or neighbors to VBS this year. Pray for God to provide an opportunity and that hearts would be open to coming. Give them a door hanger invite after asking them. Door hanger invites are available in main lobby and gym.
- Volunteer Training Portal – Access the Training Session Video, get t-shirt info, staff devos and more! T-shirts – Suggested Donation $12. After watching the training video and filling out the completed form, you may pick up your shirt in the church office! This is different than the Safe Church videos.
