Security Clearance Update: Are your Child Safe Church clearances up to date? Please check the updated list on the bulletin board in the Sunday School office.

Red Cross Blood Drive will be here next Monday, February 13, in the BFLC (gym) from 12:30-5:30PM. The Red Cross is in need of blood and is taking every precaution to keep everyone safe during their collections.

Our Next Worship Night will be on Sunday, February 19th at 7pm in the chapel. If you haven’t been to one yet, it is a great informal time of worship and singing praise to our amazing God!

Save the Date!! Thursday, Feb. 23rd we will be having a day of prayer here at the church. You can come at specified times to pray with others or any other time during the day. More details to come!

Special Business Meeting – Sunday, Feb 19 @ 9:10am – All voting members are encouraged to attend as we will be voting on a new Deacon and an Assistant Financial Secretary.

DERBY WORKSHOP FRIDAY, FEB. 17 – 6-8PM – Parents/Guardians and their kiddos will be working on their derby cars to get them ready for the Awana Grand Prix on Saturday, Feb. 25. Want to help? Contact the church office. Any tools/materials you want to bring would be appreciated, but are not necessary. We are looking for carpenters to help out parents/guardians at each of the following work stations at the workshop:

Sanding
Painting
Wheels n Axles
Weigh Station

FBC Connect Class – Feb. 19, 28 & Mar. 5 at 9:15 am If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! This 3-part class will take place in the Conference Room (across from the church office) during the Sunday School hour. If you have any questions, feel free to call the office!

Experience Missions – Packing Day Opportunity!There will be a packing day on Feb. 18th from 9am-12pm in Williamsport. We will be packing hygiene kits for Ukrainian refugees. Please wear close-toed comfortable shoes. Dress is casual but wear layers as the temperatures tend to fluctuate. Sign up in the lobby and welcome table in the gym. Sign up on your connect card or in your Sunday School class and note how many will be attending with you. The meeting will take place in the gym once everyone has gotten their food. Fishnet: This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer, 536 Fourteenth St., Riverside. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.

Bells of Joy are Back! Handbell choir is starting up again for the spring. Now is a great time to check it out! The first rehearsal will be next

Join us outside on Saturday 12/31 at 7PM for food (s’mores & cookies), hot cocoa, fun, music and a short word from one of our pastors. Then, weather pending, a big fireworks display. Drive-in style parking will be available! *This is a great opportunity to invite your friends!! Door hangers are available on the table in the main lobby and Welcome Table in the gym.

Because of Your Love in Action…

Christmas Gifts were delivered to 55 of our housebound church family December 17th & 18th! We were able to carol to 17 of our saints this year.
The Christmas Tree of Love program reached out & blessed 44 people in our community. A special thanks to Ruth Ann & Jim Hawkins for coordinating this program!
470 Christmas Cards were delivered to the Northumberland, Columbia and Montour county prisons and NCSTU.

Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

2022 Tax Credit? If you would like to have tax credit for this year, tithes and/or donations must be received or post marked by Dec. 31st. Giving reports will be mailed out in January for tax purposes.

Snow Many Good Books! Slide into our Library and wrap yourself up in a good book. There’s a flurry of great titles for all ages! And no cold-shoulder for late returns. The Library is open between services on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.

Delivery Drivers Needed – Wanna rev your engines for a sweet cause?? We are looking for drivers to assist us in dropping off Christmas gifts to our sweet home bound church family.
