The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). The bulletin will list the
suggested item of the month, but any child-friendly food is welcome during the summer. All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in main lobby for the 8AM and at the welcome tent for the 10:30AM. July’s Need is Boxes & Cups of Jell-O and Pudding.

to join us in July for another study via Zoom! While often overlooked, the Book of Jude remains as relevant today as the time it was written. God has commanded His beloved church to do the necessary work of contending for the faith in a world of unbelief, and as we do, He will keep us from falling into the same deception. It was a hard decision and now we are even more excited about next year’s VBS! Red Cross Blood Drive will be here tomorrow in the BFLC from 1:00-6:00pm. The Red Cross is in need of blood and is taking every precaution to keep everyone safe during their collections.

Ladies Open Door Bible Study has started via ZOOM on Mondays @ 8:15pm | Tuesdays @ 9:30am. We started a new study last week called Get Out of Your Head: Stopping the Spiral of Toxic Thoughts by Jennie Allen. It is based on the book of Philippians and we encourage you to read through the book of Philippians each week (it’s only 6 chapters so you can do it!). What a great time to be on guard with our thoughts when there is so much swirling around us! This study is on RightNow Media and is six sessions long. We are watching one session each week on our own and then join a zoom meeting to discuss what we learned. It’s not too late to join in! Go ahead and watch sessions 1 & 2! For access to RightNow Media, test”RIGHTNOW FBCDANVILLE” to 41411. PLEASE CONTACT HEATHER HESS TO SIGN UP FOR THE CLASS OF YOUR CHOICE (570) 854-1492 – or – wfhesshome@aol.com. She will then send you the link to the Zoom meeting as well as the weekly discussion questions. The book will not be necessary for this study but is a great read! New Bern Missions Trip… has been cancelled The church in New Bern that hosts trip participants has asked that all May trips be cancelled. While this may be disappointing news, we look forward to what God will be calling us to do, whether here at home or in New Bern!

Spring Fling – Calling Planners! Sign-up Today! Danville hosts their Spring festival on Mill Street on Saturday, May 2 from 9am to 5pm! This is always an awesome opportunity to reach our community for Christ! FBC has a tent each year and we are looking for planners from our church family to organize this event. NEW Quarterly Devotionals! Your new Large Print Our Daily Bread and Keys for Kids devotional for April-May-June are now available for pick-up in the “Borrow a Book” box located outside between the chapel and gym doors!
College Care Ministry – While most students are at home continuing classes online, the added stress of their “normal” changing will be impacting their focus. We believe now, more than ever, our college students need our encouragement! Want to help? Send us cards and/or emails of encouragement for the students by April 19 and we’ll include them in the packages. Monetary donations are also gratefully accepted to help cover the cost of supplies (no donations this time) and postage. Please designate “College ministry” and either mail your donation in or you can give online. Call the Office with Student Info or SUBMIT INFO ONLINE by April 12. *Submit student info even if info hasn’t changed*

Safe Church Clearance Updates – If your PA Criminal Background check and/or PA Child Abuse clearance need to be updated this year, you’ll be receiving a postcard notifying you when you’re within the 3 month window to be able to renew these 2 documents. Help us keep FBC a safe environment for our kiddos!
Mission Trip Opportunity – FBC is Going to NC…AGAIN!! We are looking for a few volunteers to join our team as we partner with Samaritan’s Purse in ministering to families in New Bern, NC. Hurricane Florence was referred to as the “storm of a lifetime” for the Eastern North Carolina region and our rebuild volunteers will be making construction repairs to homes. Here are the details:
